Are Millennium Awards ? |

Millennium Awards are grants made to individuals to allow them to fulfil a personal aspiration by undertaking their own project to mark the end of the millennium. The participants are all volunteers whose only reward is the satisfaction gained from their achievement and the new skills they may acquire along the way. Each project must also be of benefit to the wider community. Millennium Awards are made by the Millennium Commission supported by funds from the National Lottery.

Fellowship |
| All awards recipients who successfully complete their project become Millennium Award Fellows. There will be a network of 40,000 people across the country who have shown a desire to pass on their skills and knowledge to the benefit of the community. The fellowship will continue well into the new millennium |
