Following on from the successful Phase 1 project (1/096), two Flowers of the Forest nature trails have been created within existing native woodlands at Culbin near Forres and Glen More near Aviemore. A colour booklet is being produced giving information and professional advice to ensure that the moss, herb and shrub layers are not overlooked in the establishment and management of woodlands. It is hoped that this project will inspire similar initiatives elsewhere.
